You are invited for an evening with OVESCO at the Linklater Pavilion on Wednesday the 8th November from 7pm to 9pm. This is an opportunity to celebrate 10 years of community energy for East Sussex as well as launching our newest project, and accompanying share offer, Sunny Solar Schools.
OVESCO Sunny Solar Schools is installing roof top solar PV at schools in East Sussex and kicks off with an additional 30kW installed at King's Academy Ringmer. A further ten schools have completed feasibility studies with an average of 40kW at each school and we have secured funding for feasibility studies on an additional 14 schools. By supporting this share offer you would reduce the schools energy bills, cut carbon emissions and use solar PV as an educational tool.
Ollie Pendered, Chair of Community Energy South, will be comparing proceedings. Ollie works alongside OVESCO to develop projects such as Energy Saving Champions.
Ruth O'Keeffe is an independent Councillor who has given OVESCO invaluable support in getting panels on Wallands School.
Steve Green is the Head of Sustainability at King's Academy Ringmer. He is coming to share his experiences of solar power benefiting schools and their students.
Patrick Crawford is a director of Sunny Solar Schools and has been integral to the development of the project
